Mark Schreiber with his FamilyA lifelong Kansan and lifelong Republican, Mark and his wife Angie have lived in the district more than 27 years. After graduating from Emporia State University, the Schreibers made their home in Emporia, raising their own two children here.

Mark has worked 37 years with KG&E and Westar Energy, first at the Wolf Creek Generating Station and later at the company’s headquarters in Topeka. Angie operates the Cradle to Career Literacy Center.

Kansas Representative Mark SchreiberMark has been active with the United Way of the Flint Hills, Emporia Area Chamber of  Commerce, Emporia-Lyon County Area Metropolitan Planning Commission, SOS, Emporia Community Foundation, Leadership Emporia, and the Kansas Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence. The Schreibers are members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
